What does AccountOne do?

Who should use AccountOne? Should I or my tax consultant?

aBoth online sellers and tax consultants can use AccountOne. Here it depends on who does the accounting and handling of the taxes. For the tax consultant, AccountOne nicely complements the merchandise management system of the client.

How long does it take to get started with AccountOne?

aThe first step is to register with us. That can easily be done here. Afterwards, one of our team members will be in touch with you to guide you through the initial set up. For this you will need the Amazon AWS key. We will send you instructions for obtaining this key in an email following your registration. After that, Master data such as personal and general ledger accounts are accessed and AccountOne will begin right away collecting the data. Depending on the amount, you will be able to download your data the following day.

Can AccountOne retroactively add Data?

  • Yes – AccountOne can retroactively establish data back to December 1, 2016. We can also do a manual import of data prior to December 1, 2016. Please just let us know.
Can AccountOne register my VAT in other countries?

aWe have an in-house network of tax consultants, which we use for VAT compliance. Our Exports our tailored to this network, which ensures a smooth transfer of data.

Can I also use reduced tax rates in other European countries?

  • Yes, we have stored the tax rate for each European country. Therefore, you can set a particular tax rate for each product and country. This can be done simply by making a selection from a clearly structured table. Alternatively, you can select a tax rate for all countries at the same time. This saves time and nerves.
What should I do if a distance selling threshold in a country is exceeded?

aIf you only sell on Amazon, then nothing! AccountOne immediately recognizes the violation and automatically changes the relevant tax country. If you also sell through other channels, then please make sure the taxation is changed accordingly. As soon as your delivery threshold reaches 90%, AccountOne will notify you so that you can make the necessary changes in time. We are happy to assist you.
